Fantastic training that can be used with all children attending the Centre. Easy to understand and implement within the centre with a whole-team approach.

I don't believe the Teaching Pyramid to be a new concept when dealing with children's behaviours but the training was insightful with regard to educators de-constructing and re-framing their thinking when supporting children's behaviours within an early years learning environment.

Sara was a truly engaging presenter who took you through the whole Teaching Pyramid frame work step by step so as you could leave the workshop with a sound understanding of where and how to implement a positive behaviour plan.

The teaching pyramid is a holistic frame work that incorporates all ages and stages in the developmental recognition and balance of early childhood through to primary and secondary education.

Sara was very passionate about the Teaching Pyramid which influenced the learning. It will be a very effective tool for Educators to use in their services.

I found this training very valuable. With the resources and written notes I have put together a folder that can be used by other educators in my service. To be really effective I think all team members need to do this training. I am working on that. We have begun again to use visuals and a routine board. The training filled in some gaps for me but, complements my training I have had in the Circle of Security and Marta Meo. All leading to emotional literacy.

What a fantastic program. It really opened my eyes on how to understand and cater for children's social and emotional development in a more inclusive way. I appreciate the time it took to develop and educate others on this program. I have already started to enhance my own professional development through the use of solution kits and hypothesis statements. Its also a great way to link inclusion support agencies with Early Childhood services.

Recommend this course to anyone who works with children. It is very informative and the information shows you practical ways to positively approach children and eliminate most difficult behaviours.

I have found the Teaching Pyramid fits nicely in with our intentional teaching. We have a 'thinking mat' which we use and this involves asking the children to think about a topic and tell us what they know. We then write their thoughts on a piece of paper so they can see that their thinking is important and valued. Sometimes it can be difficult getting all the thoughts written down at once so we ask the children to 'hold' their thought so that they remember for when we get to their turn. We also have pieces of paper shaped like leaves which the children can use to write or draw their ideas so that we can place them on the thinking tree. Their thoughts then in turn develop the program or show you where to go next according to what the children know. It allows lots of opportunity for praise and reinforcement.

A wonderful 2 days spent with Sara the Presenter that were informative, educating and giving the opportunity to collaborate with other Early Childhood Educators.

After the training you feel that you have a practical set/ bag of tools that can be used in many situations for all children. The practical examples allow you to see the strategies in action in everyday situations, Also in the training, time was given to discuss specific examples from your particular work place which was very helpful.
